The Carolina Panthers released new renderings Thursday, showcasing $1.3 billion in stadium renovations.
Team owner David Tepper will invest an additional $500 million into the renovations. The team also announced a long-term extension on a naming rights deal with Bank of America. The naming rights agreement, which dates back to the 1990s, is among the longest-standing in the NFL.
Panthers stadium renovations are expected to be completed by 2030.

The Panthers played their first season in 1995 at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C. They moved into their current stadium — then known as Ericsson Stadium — a year later.
Construction for the renovations is being phased to allow events to continue to be held at Bank of America Stadium throughout the project. The city of Charlotte committed $650 million for the project.
Renovation projects include enhancements to bowl seating, locker rooms, restrooms, scoreboards, retain, concessions, the press box, premium spaces and more. New spaces showcased in the renderings include expanded gathering spaces on all levels, including a 500-level social patio with views of Charlotte.

The renderings also show a 4,400-capacity entertainment venue, which will host 80 to 100 annual events.
Panthers rookies reported to training camp Tuesday in Charlotte. Veterans reported Wednesday to Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers will face the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game — the first preseason matchup of the year — at 8 p.m. EDT Aug. 6 in Canton, Ohio. They will host the Chicago Bears in their regular-season opener Sept. 13 in Charlotte.
