The Jacksonville Jaguars and tight end Brenton Strange agreed to a three-year, $48 million contract extension, his agency confirmed Wednesday.
Sportstars. Inc., said Strange’s pact includes $25 million in guarantees. Strange, a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, was entering the final year of his rookie contract.
The 6-foot-4, 253-pound pass catcher totaled a career-high 540 yards and three scores off 46 catches over 12 appearances last season. Strange hauled in 91 catches for 986 yards and six scores through his first three seasons.
Jaguars rookies will report to training camp July 25 at Miller Electric Center. Veterans are set to report three days later in Jacksonville.
