The Miami Dolphins and Odell Beckham Jr. mutually agreed to part ways, ending the veteran wide receiver’s short tenure with the team, a league source told UPI on Friday.

Beckham missed several practices and four of the Dolphins’ first 13 games this season for personal reasons and to recover from off-season knee surgery. Advertisement

The three-time Pro Bowl selection, who signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Dolphins in May, totaled just nine catches for 55 yards through 14 weeks of the 2024 season.

Beckham, 32, will now head to waivers. If he goes through the waiver process unclaimed, he will be free to sign with any team Monday.

News of the Beckham-Dolphins split surfaced less than 24 hours after the veteran wide receiver posted a cryptic message Thursday on his Instagram account.

“One thing about me no matter what. … I’m always land on my feet,” Beckham wrote. “God got me.”

Malik Washington and River Cracraft join star pass catchers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in the wide receivers’ room. Hill leads the team with 65 catches for 769 yards. Waddle secured 54 catches for 700 yards and two scores through 13 games. Advertisement

Tight end Jonnu smith ranks third, with 692 yards on 61 catches this season. Running back De’Von Achane hauled in 63 catches for 474 yards and a team-high six scores through his first 13 games this season.

The Dolphins (6-7) will face the Houston Texans (8-5) at 1 p.m. EST Sunday at NRG Stadium in Houston.
