Las Vegas Raiders hire Klint Kubiak as head coach

The Las Vegas Raiders hired Klint Kubiak as their head coach, they announced Monday.

Kubiak spent the 2025-26 campaign as offensive coordinator for the Super Bowl LX champion Seattle Seahawks. He held the same position with the New Orleans Saints in 2024.

Kubiak will replace former Raiders coach Pete Carroll, who was fired in January after one season. The 2025-26 Raiders (3-14) scored the fewest points and totaled the fewest yards in the NFL. They owned the worst rushing attack and fifth-worst passing game.

The 2025-26 Seahawks offense totaled the third-most points and eighth-most yards in the NFL, with the No. 8 passing attack and No. 10 running game.

Kubiak was previously linked to openings with the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins and New York Giants.

Joe Brady, Brian Daboll, Jeff Hafley, Vance Joseph, Mike McDaniel and Kevin Stefanski were among the other previous candidates to fill the Raiders vacancy.
